Application Developer - Coldfusion and Java, Digital Technology Provider - London to £40k

Your Profile
As an Application Developer for this leading Online Marketing and Employee Rewards company you'll need to be an inspired software/web developer with a passion for designing, architecting and developing advanced web 2.0 applications, platforms, and services. You'll be type who lives and breathes technology, innovates and adopts early to technology changes, and someone who enjoys working in a team of talented people.

You'll need to demonstrate the highest ability and experience in the following;

- Coldfusion(ideal) or PHP(relevant) for customer facing web apps development
- Java J2EE knowledge for internal and business facing applications
- Standards compliant HTML/CSS , Javascript and Ajax
- SQL programming
- Experience creating web services Preferably;
- Linux/Unix environment proficiency
- UML knowledge
- Experience with Java frameworks, including Struts, Spring, and Hibernate

The Role
As an applications developer, you will contribute to the design, development, and implementation of mission-critical, internal and customer-facing applications using ColdFusion, PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and AJAX design. You will use the latest J2EE frameworks (JSF, Seam, EJB) and SQL programming to build scalable applications to meet our ever increasing traffic. You will work both independently and in a team to deliver strategic application enhancements and create intuitive interfaces making complex tasks easy to execute. You will quickly prototype, implement and iterate on designs.
